When the band Yogee New Waves debuted in spring 2014 with "CLIMAX NIGHT e.p.", they were described as the return of the city-pop sound, and as the pioneers of a new scene, they ushered in and dawned the current movement.
The long-awaited 2nd album "WAVES", the first full album in two and a half years, is finally complete.
This masterpiece comes from the dramatic band, who have parted company and met members many times since their formation, and have finally restarted and completed the project as a four-piece.
From 70's-80's city pop to 90's Shibuya style, they have digested the great music of the past and continue to present new pop music with updates that only they can make,
Yogee New Waves have established an absolute position in the next generation scene as a rock band that represents today's "urban" music. This 2nd album is a masterpiece!
