In December 2025, Hiromitsu Kitayama announced his move to "RED ON," a joint music label by PONY CANYON and TOBE. This single marks his very first release under the new label.

The title track, "ULTRA," features lyrics written by Hiromitsu Kitayama himself. It is a heartwarming love song expressing sincere feelings for a loved one. The song reflects on the miracle of meeting, the destiny of living in the same era, and a strong determination to "sing for you, and no one else."
