Miki Matsubara's first best album released in 1983 is reissued on the popular color vinyl (clear purple)!
Participated in CITY POP on VINYL 2022.
Released in 1983 as Miki Matsubara's first best album.
The first song on the A-side, "Paradise Beach (Sophie's Theme)," was produced by Takashi Matsumoto and Haruomi Hosono and used in a TV commercial starring French actress Sophie Marceau.
The lightness and elegance of the song was cut as a single before being included on the album.
The album also includes five other single cuts, including "Midnight Door - stay with me," which became synonymous with city pop, and the Shiseido commercial song "Neat 3:00 PM," as well as "Halation," composed by Miki Matsubara herself, with a Latin touch.
This is the best selection of Miki Matsubara's three years of hits since her debut.
