Miki Matsubara "Light Mellow"

A revival of the “Light Mellow Wamono” artist compilation series, curated by renowned music writer Toshikazu Kanazawa, who has been leading the city pop scene. Unlike typical best-of compilations focused on singles, this selection brings a unique “Light Mellow” approach, featuring city pop, AOR, and fusion hits. Carefully chosen masterpieces that should be heard today, offering a chance to discover new aspects and charms of each artist.

Tracks are selected from a broad range of works, spanning from the 1980 debut album POCKET PARK to LADY BOUNCE, the final album from the Pony Canyon era in 1985.
