The second album, "Design," by Interiors, composed of Daisuke Hinata and Hidenori Nonaka, has been reissued for the first time! The group released three works in total. Their first album was released under the name "Interior" in 1982 by Alfa Records (Hosono Haruomi's YEN RECORDS). It was also featured in the compilation "Kankyō Ongaku: Japanese Ambient, Environmental & New Age Music 1980-1990," released by Light in the Attic in 2018, which garnered much attention. Concurrently with our release on October 23, Sony will reissue their first album and the remix album released by Windham Hill as part of the Alfa 55th anniversary releases. Collaborative promotions with our releases are also planned.

- While studying at Berklee College of Music, Hinata was shocked by YMO's "BGM" and returned to Japan. He formed "Interior" with Hidenori Nonaka and others and debuted on Haruomi Hosono's YEN label. The album was also released overseas by Windham Hill, a label known as a pioneer of ambient and new age music. The group disbanded after releasing the album "Design."
- Daisuke Hinata: A Japanese music producer, composer, keyboardist, synthesist, synthesizer programmer, recording engineer, and studio designer. He returned to Japan after being inspired by YMO's "BGM" while studying at Berklee College of Music. He formed "Interior" with Hidenori Nonaka and others and debuted on Haruomi Hosono's YEN label. The album was also released overseas by Windham Hill. He later produced for Tetsuya Komuro, Takako Matsu, and others, and moved to Los Angeles in 1990.
In 1996, the TV drama "Long Vacation" soundtrack, composed and produced by his unit CAGNET, became a massive hit, selling 1.5 million copies, the highest in soundtrack history, and earning a Gold Disc. He also worked on the music for "Love Generation" (1997) and "Love Story" (2001), continuing to achieve worldwide success. He is also known for composing music for dramas like "Tokyo Love Story," "Under One Roof," and "Asunaro Hakusho," as well as his solo works. His older brother, Toshifumi Hinata, is also a composer and pianist known for his work on drama soundtracks.
